There's a garage under my office. It's not very big, and nobody from the school where I work gets to park down there, even though we're the primary tenant. Some people from other tenanats park down there, but mostly the guy who owns the building (and several others) stores a bunch of cars down there.
Some of my coworkers had mentioned the cars down there but I never had an occasion to venture down, until today. It just so happened that right before I went down, a mint green 50s Thunderbird drove away from the building, so I didn't get a picture of that one. Here's what I found. The car above looks like a '55-'56 DeSoto Firedome sedan.
Triumph TR6.
'55-'56 Thunderbird
A couple Porsches under covers. I didn't want to disturb them. The red cover I believe is some kind of air-cooled 911 with a bigass wing on it, the gray cover I think it a 986 Boxster with some stuff done to it.
Pretty sure this is a Fiat 124 Spider. The center cap on the wheel said Fiat at least.
944 Turbo with some mods. The brake calipers were painted silver with black Porsche logos, Enkei NT-03M wheels, aftermarket exhaust, some of the interior was stripped out, and it had one of these intercooler vent panels between the headlights:
(Not this exact shape with the raised bump around the inlet, but the same general idea.) The tread pattern on those tires is very familiar looking to me as a performance tire from several years ago...some google-fu revealed they are the long-since discontinued Yokohama AVS Sport. Between those and the dust, the car obviously isn't driven much.
Dibs on the 944.
